Satarupa Sinha Roy (Ph.D., English) is an academic (current designation: Assistant Professor) and the founding editor of Amaranth Journal of Food Writing, Art and Design.

She teaches UG courses on Restoration Literature, British Romantic Literature, European Modernism, Postcolonial Literatures,  Literature & Ethics (Add-on Course), and Creative Writing. Her research interests are Travel Studies, Food Studies, and the Visual Arts.
